Nothing is skipped because the clock is running. The work simply happens in parallel.
Tell us your window
Where from, where to, how many people and the latest time you can leave. Flexibility of even an hour can open up more aircraft.
We find what can fly
Your advisor checks aircraft near your airport, crew rest, airport opening hours and, for international trips, customs.
You approve and sign
You choose an option, sign a charter agreement naming the operator, and pay according to its terms.
Head to the FBO
You get the private terminal address and arrival time. For most domestic flights that means arriving shortly before departure.
Can I still fly tonight?
Four things decide whether a late departure works
Aircraft are only part of it. These are the questions your advisor answers before an option ever reaches you.
Crew duty and rest
Pilots need their legal rest before a duty starts and must finish within duty limits. A crew that flew all day may not be able to fly you tonight.
Airport hours
Some airports close overnight or restrict noise after dark, and some FBOs shut their doors. A nearby field may stay open later.
Customs
International trips need customs at both ends, sometimes with advance notice. Where you clear in can shape the route.
Catering cut-offs
Specialist kitchens need notice. At very short notice expect simpler choices, sourced by the FBO or the crew.

A short-notice flight goes through the same operator, crew and aircraft checks as one booked a month ahead. Your quote names the operator before you commit.
Part 135
US charter for hire must be operated under an FAA Part 135 certificate by a carrier holding operational control. Abroad, the local equivalent applies.
ARGUS

Questions
Asked most often after dark
How late can I request a flight for tonight?
There is no fixed cut-off. It depends on whether an aircraft and a rested crew are near your airport, and whether the airports are open when you want to fly. Send the request as soon as you know, with the latest time you can leave.
Is a last-minute flight more expensive?
Not automatically. The price depends on the aircraft and how far it has to travel to reach you. If the nearest suitable jet is a long way off, its positioning flight adds cost. Every quote is all-in, so you can compare options directly.
Can I fly internationally at short notice?
Often, yes, but it takes more preparation: passport details for everyone, customs at departure and arrival, and sometimes landing permits. We will tell you plainly if the timing is unrealistic.
What if my plans change again?
Tell your advisor straight away. What happens next depends on the cancellation terms in your charter agreement, which you see before you sign.
Can my dog come at the last minute?
Frequently. Operators decide pet by pet, so share the size and breed in your request and we will only suggest aircraft that will carry them.
Do I need an account or a membership?
No account, no membership and no deposit to ask for a quote. You pay only for a flight you choose to book.
Who operates the aircraft?
Last Minute Private Jet arranges the flight as a broker. A certificated operator, named in your quote, flies the aircraft and holds operational control.
